With Arms Still Empty - Summer Demo


Genre: Hardcore/Screamo

The only thing I know about this band is that they were from Grand Rapids. Oh, and they're badass. I hear they broke up a while ago.

    Holy crap, where did you get this? I think we sold like 5 of these, and only made about 10. I was the singer/guitar player in the band.

    Somebody either on the Michigan Hardcore forum or the Midwest Punk Collective forum posted a link to this album. That's awesome! Did you guys ever put anything else out?

    Yeah, we put out a cdep in 1998/9? called watching friends fall, a split cd with since by man in 2000, and a few comp tracks scattered around. The ep you posted was the last thing we ever did, it was supposed to be a demo for a full length that never materialized.

    I am no longer in a band. By 2002-03, I was doing three bands at the same time: with arms, hunter rose, and prophet of the dawn. I quit everything at once, and moved away from GR a year later. Derek from Hunter Rose/Just For Kicks is now doing Charles the Osprey, and the guys I was playing with in Prophet of the Dawn are doing Great Reversals, based out of Detroit. As far as I know, none of the guys that were in with arms are still active in music.
